About France Stickers - Who We Are

Last updated: 29 March 2026

Why France Stickers exists

Applying for a Crit’Air sticker through the official French government website is straightforward in theory. In practice, it is a French-language form that rejects UK postcodes, requires manual document translation, and posts the sticker to a French address format that does not always match your V5C.

We built France Stickers to remove that friction. You enter your registration number, upload your V5C, and we handle the rest — submitting directly to the French government’s certificat-air.gouv.fr system on your behalf.

What we do

  • Instant DVLA lookup — enter your reg and we identify your vehicle, fuel type, and Crit’Air category automatically
  • Same-day digital facsimile — a legally valid PDF emailed to you immediately, so you are covered from day one
  • Government submission — we submit your application to the official French system within 2 hours of payment
  • Physical sticker by post — the official sticker arrives from France in 10–14 working days

We are not the French government. We are an independent UK-based assistance service that charges a fee to handle the application process for you. You can always apply directly at certificat-air.gouv.fr for the government fee of €3.72 plus postage — our service exists for drivers who want it done quickly, correctly, and in English.

How we are different from scam sites

There are websites that charge inflated fees and provide nothing in return. We are transparent about what we charge, what we do, and how long it takes. Every application is submitted to the real French government system. Every sticker you receive is the genuine article — the same sticker you would get by applying directly.

If we cannot submit your application for any reason, we refund you in full. No questions.
